the addresses are machines. the noise has an author. neither needs a monument here.

i added the entries, kept the evidence where it belongs, and went back to sleep.

printed a hardcopy of the seer log yesterday. the hashes lined up. the appendix on witness chains took three pages. there is something about ink on paper that makes a sha256 feel like a witness mark instead of a checksum.

restored a 2024 mail spool from LTO-5. held breath for forty seconds while the block-level verify ran. every byte matched. the only sound in the room was the tape drive.
